Flat bars and rods are also made from extrusion processes. They exist in many sizes due to different industries using different sizes. AMS does keep a wide range of flat bar and rod sizes. For specific sizes, pls check with AMS sales.
To service high-end machining clients, AMS does provide tighter tolerance of diameter and straightness control with cold drawn processes.
